This Carmelite monastery complex consists of the St. Anna church building and the premises with cells adjoined to it. The monastery was fortified with high ramparts, traces of which are conserved until our days. In 18 c. the ensemble of the monastery was rebuilt in Baroque style and expanded. The church was built in the years 1585-1591. On the vaults of the church frescoes of 18 c. are preserved. Monastic cells, built in 1608, are two different sizes-storey buildings, which are adjacent to the north and south facades of the church. Susidovychi village was one of 9 Carpathian villages, which were given to Gerburts in 1374 by Vladislav Opolchik. In 15 c. in the village a Roman Catholic parish appeared. According to legend, in 1585 in the village on the so-called Laskava mountain a sculpture of St. Anna was allegedly found. It always returned to its seat after it was transferred to the church. Therefore, in the place where this sculpture was, a wooden chapel and later a stone St. Anna church were built. In 1603 Jan Gerburt founded the Carmelite Monastery (wooden, 12 cells) by the St. Anna church. Only in 1742 a brick monastery was erected. Back in 1613 the monastery was surrounded by a brick wall with four bastions and a moat. In 1626 the defense of the monastery was reinforced with high ramparts. In 1645 to the ramparts the stone gate was added.
