                  Name: Village Huta-Mezhyhirs'ka village Status: Village in Vyshgorodskiy area, a part of the Lutizhsky Village Council Location: Located in 7 km from the village Lyutizh. Population: 225 people. Area: 127.4 hectares. Ponds: r.Irpin Founded in 1760. History of the village: The date of the village origin is not known exactly, somewhere about 1760`s It is likely that the name of the village is connected with the existence of glass-melting work-shop in this region and Mezhyhirsk Savior Transfiguration Monastery. It is known that in ancient times in the village people burnt coal. In 1930 a collective farm (kolhosp) was organized in the village and in 1932 a primary school was built. In 1936 - 1938 in the village and beyond were built long-term fortifications, bunkers, which were included in the second line of defense of Kiev dill of district. During the occupation of 1941 -1943 30 inhabitants of the village were deported to Germany as forced laborers. When the Soviet troops were about to come the Germans burned the village. Six houses and several stables survived. After that rebuilding of the village started. In 1947-1953 in the floodplain of Irpen was created Irpen drainage system.
