                  The museum of history of organs of internal affairs of the Poltava area began the activity in 1967 from a museum room at the regional management of internal affairs. on Septembers, 23, 1989 a museum got a new apartment - municipal mansion of 1890, which behaves to sights of architecture of Poltava. In May, 1992 the rank of folk is appropriated a museum. The display of museum is located in four halls by the general area of 198 м2. The funds of museum count almost three thousand exhibits: the archived documents, photos, original standards of fire and cold weapon, personal things of veterans of organs of internal affairs. A display contains the masterly made dioramas, artistic models.
