The museum is located in the historical estate of the Ogievsky family, where the great Kobzar once visited. The museum was based on the legacy of the museum room of the Krolevets factory of artistic weaving. The museum's collection of ancient and modern works of artistic weaving has more than 700 unique exhibits, of which almost 400 are towels. The oldest towel dates back to 1839. Woven products that are kept in the museum's funds have come down to us from the 19th-20th centuries. These are various items of decorative and applied and ritual purposes, primarily towels, the size and design of which depended on their use in everyday life and rituals. Patterned fabrics for interior use - table tables, fabrics, curtains.
