Its history begins with the appearance of a small children's town, which included a two-tiered fortress with a suspension bridge and towers, as well as wood sculptures located in the thick shadow of park trees. At the same time behind the building of the fortress was installed rail locomotive - one of the most favorite children's entertainment. The main feature of the locomotive is the driver's cab open for everyone's access and the presence of two real cars. One of these cars was equipped for a cinema for children, and the second - for shooting. Also in the park were all kinds of carousels, a children's playground, a swing, a Ferris wheel. The total area of ​​the park "Yunost" at that time reached 30 hectares. From the side of the Poltava Shlyakh street a new park was presented by the Obelisk "Orlyonok", where there was a playground for various ceremonial events. Not far from the obelisk was installed a tram stop, standing out against the background of other urban buildings and structures with original design and architecture. To date, the park "Youth" has almost not retained its original appearance. Throughout 2012-2013, the park carried out extensive works on its improvement. The park is open for visits, in the warm season it hosts a variety of cultural events.
