Kirov Monument is located in the park named after the 1st Cavalry Army, at the intersection of Pushkin and Avenue of Kirov city of Rostov- on-Don. Initially, the monument to Kirov was in the square opposite the Music Theatre, in the park, at the site destroyed by the Bolsheviks in the 30-ies of XX century Intercession Church. In late 2005, it was decided to postpone the basin, and in its place erect a new temple of the Holy Virgin. Currently, the Kirov monument weighing 2.5 tons, has a height of 3.5 meters. Mounted on a granite pedestal revolutionary figure of statuary bronze, brushed and coated with anti-corrosion solution.
