              With Gomel closely linked fate of the famous aircraft Pavel Sukhoi. He lived in Gomel in 1900-1914 and in 1919. Studied in high school and taught school in the train. Pavel Osipovich-dry twice Hero of Socialist Labor, Ph.D., general construction-torus. In Sukhoi developed the famous supersonic fighters and swept delta wing. The monument consists of a rectangular basin (3.5 m), lined with slabs of black granite and towering bronze bust on it (1.2 m). The area around the basin is lined with gray concrete slabs, front pedestal is a fountain around - ornamental plantings.
