                  Largest architectural complex of the city - Bernardine Church and Monastery, XVI-XVIII centuries. Catholic church - three naves shestistolpnym basil. The architecture of the church left its mark three shifts each other styles: Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. The main facade is designed in Baroque forms with individual elements of the Renaissance. Close to the church there is a monastic body, forming a closed courtyard. On the west side of the complex composition enriched multi-tiered bell tower, embedded between a church and a monastery. Top of the belfry and Furnishings belong to the second half of XVIII century. Presenting art so-called Vilnius Baroque. Important role belongs to the monument and in the panorama of the city center, opening from the left bank of the Neman River.
