Boris and Gleb, or Kalozha church - a wonderful example of ancient architecture of the second half of the XII century. Boris and Gleb Church, located on a high steep bank of the Neman, not completely preserved: its arches and the head disappeared long ago, and the southern part of the western wall collapsed into the river by a landslide in 1853 building is a shestistolpnym, trehapsidnym temples-cross system. In the altar area under a thick layer of plaster were found in 1870 during renovations in the frescos of XII. Of greatest interest are the facades of the church: they are dissected by vertical rods of stepwise-blades. Surface of the walls decorated inserts in polished rough boulders and colorful majolica tiles of various colors. Majolica and stones - a certain symmetry, but not strict, thereby facades have become even more picturesque: they seem inlaid with precious stones. Boris and Gleb Church, together with a complex of monuments on the Castle Hill in Grodno declared historical and archaeological reserve.
