1939/5000 Osobnyak postroyen po proyektu A. Beketova (1913 g.). P-obraznoye v plane zdaniye imeyet asimmetrichnoye kompozitsionnoye postroyeniye. Yego vneshniy oblik opredelyayetsya sochetaniyem khudozhestvennykh priyemov renessansa i moderna. Nad perekrytym arkoy tsentral'nym vkhodom razmeshchayetsya bol'shoy okonnyy proyem, kotoryy osveshchayet paradnuyu lestnitsu. Proyem imeyet sochnoye plasticheskoye obramleniye s ispol'zovaniyem trekhchetvertnykh kolonn ionicheskogo ordera i lepnykh skul'pturnykh detaley. Elementami original'nogo oformleniya yavlyayutsya keramicheskiye mnogotsvetnyye zapolneniya v interkolumniyakh arkad, kotoryye obramlyayut okonnyye proyemy vtorogo etazha. Osobenno eto oshchutimo v paradnom kholle so stupenyami na vtoroy etazh, perekrytom vverkhu kassetnym korobnym svodom. Na urovne vtorogo etazha, so storony tsentral'nogo vkhoda, raspolozhen vitrazh, svoyeobrazno "uravnoveshennyy" na ploshchadke naprotiv dekorativnym lepnym rizalitom s karnizom, ukrashennym vazonami i girlyandami. Metallicheskiye perila paradnykh stupeney v vide pal'met. Izraztsy s izobrazheniyem girlyand ovoshchey i fruktov s geometricheskimi uzorami ukrashayut steny nad paradnymi stupenyami, oblitsovannymi plitkoy. Etot dom prinadlezhal Ignatishchevym nedolgo: v 1917 godu yego prodali kommersantu Levitskomu, posle revolyutsii osobnyak natsionalizirovali, a v 1931-1932 gg. zdes' byla razmeshchena kollektsiya kartin T. Shevchenko. 25 marta 1944 goda na osnove kollektsii Gosudarstvennoy kartinnoy galerei, kotoraya vozvratilas' iz evakuatsii, byl sozdan Gosudarstvennyy muzey ukrainskogo iskusstva, vposledstvii on yeshche dvazhdy pereimenovyvalsya: Khar'kovskiy gosudarstvennyy muzey izobrazitel'nogo iskusstva (1949 g.), Khar'kovskiy khudozhestvennyy muzey (1965 g.). The mansion was built according to the project of A. Beketov (1913). The U-shaped building in the plan has an asymmetric composition structure. Its external appearance is determined by a combination of artistic techniques of the Renaissance and Art Nouveau. Above the arch blocked by the central entrance there is a large window opening that illuminates the front staircase. The opening has a juicy plastic frame with the use of three-quarter columns of the Ionic order and molded sculptural details. The elements of the original design are ceramic multicolor fillings in intercolumnies of arcades that frame the window openings of the second floor. This glazed pottery was probably made in Poltava, and a molded frame - at the sculpture plant of K. Peshchinsky and Rikhi in Kharkov. In the interior design, as in the overwhelming majority of Beketov's buildings, the motifs of the ancient Greek classics, loved by the architect, were used. Especially it is palpable in the front hall with steps to the second floor, blocked at the top by a cassette box vault. At the level of the second floor, on the side of the central entrance, there is a stained-glass window, originally "counterbalanced" on the site opposite a decorative molded risalite with a cornice decorated with flowerpots and garlands. Metal railing of the ceremonial steps in the form of palmets. Tiles with the image of garlands of vegetables and fruits with geometric patterns decorate the walls above the front steps, tiled. This house belonged to Ignacyshchev not for long: in 1917 it was sold to merchant Levitsky, after the revolution the mansion was nationalized, and in 1931-1932. Here was a collection of paintings by T. Shevchenko. On March 25, 1944, the State Museum of Ukrainian Art was created on the basis of the collection of the State Picture Gallery, which returned from the evacuation. Later it was renamed twice: the Kharkov State Museum of Fine Arts (1949), the Kharkov Art Museum (1965).
