              In 1795 a stone church of the Resurrection was built in the village. According to legend, old-timers from a brick burnt in Koshar. Resurrection church - on an experienced tourist look is quite simple. But this is the oldest temple that has survived in Sumy, built by the family of Razumovsky, from which the last hetman came from. The Church of the Resurrection is listed as a monument of local heritage as a cultural heritage. It is a one-chapel church with a bell tower rising in the center of the village of Koshary.
