Sataniv castle - fortification building - a monument of urban planning and architecture of Ukraine of national importance. Sataniv Castle is located in the northern part of Satanov, on a high hill near the Zbruch River. According to the plan he is pentagonal. On all the horns of the pentagon were the towers, and between the towers - walls. Today, the eastern tower and the remains of two towers located directly above Zbruch are preserved. Two towers on the side of the town were destroyed. The castle was built in the XV century on the site of the earlier fortifications of the XIV century. At the end of the XVI century, the castle expanded, he acquired a five-corner plan in shape with angular pentagonal towers.
