In 1807-1819, a small stone church was built in Krivoi Ozero at the expense of the landlord Ludwig Sholaiski's family in the name of St. Ludwig. On the territory belonging to the church, staff houses were built. Since 1936 the church has been closed. After World War II, it was equipped with a bus station. Until 1992, the House of Culture was housed here, and various circles operated. The Central District Library was located on the left side of the premises. On November 10, 1993, the former church was returned to the local community by Roman Catholics. For almost 200 years of its existence the church was rebuilt, but the foundation of the building remained unchanged. Construction of the shrine and its territory continues. Now the church is back in operation, there is a Catholic community in Krivoy Ozero.
