In 1877-1879, a brick one-nave church was built in Boryn at the expense of the descendants of immigrants of German ethnic origin. The temple was consecrated in 1879 under the title of St. Roha. In 1930-1932 the church was regularly renovated. In the 1940s, the Soviet authorities closed the church and used it as a collective farm. In 1965, the shrine was completely destroyed, leaving only the foundation. In 2006, Cardinal Marian Jaworski consecrated the cornerstone for the construction of a new church on the foundation of the previous church of St. Roha. On August 17, 2013, Archbishop Mechyslav Mokshytsky consecrated the newly built church.
