                  Customer and the owner of the palace was Stanislaw Lubomirski (1709-1793), governor of Bratslav. In 1895 the building was purchased by the society "Prosvyta" and was named the home "Prosvyty. The building housed a number of Ukrainian cultural and educational institutions. He visited Ivan Franko, Lesya Ukrainian, Ethel Voynich, Vasil Stefanik and others. In the Soviet period there were opened the museum department of the Lviv Institute of Art, Folklore and Ethnography. M. Rylskyi USSR (now - Institute of Ethnology).
