                  Building of castle was begun by brothers princes Khrystofor and Yurii Zbarazki. A castle is located on a mountain, once surrounded bogs. He is the standard of combination of palace and bastion strengthening, that reflects the tendencies of the european fortification art of those times. A prince Khrystofor Zbarazkyi died in 1627 year, when a castle yet was not finished building. Building of castle was completed at Yurii Zbarazkomu. After death the last, a castle passed to the domain of princes Vyshnevetskykh, what continued works from strengthening of defensive buildings and equipping with modern amenities of palace.
