This is the main temple of female Saint Panteleimon Monastery. Cathedral built in 1905-1912 he was the architect EF Ermakova in Feofaniya in male skit. In 1920-ies the cathedral was ransacked and closed by Soviet authorities. During World War II temple also suffered from mortar fire. In the postwar years on the temple grounds to appear Experimental Mechanics, Academy of Sciences Institute (experiments with explosions directed action), and the inner space of the cathedral turned into a multi-storeyed building. In 1990 church building in poor condition were transferred to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. During 1990-1998, the cathedral was completely restored inside and out and consecrated in 1998. In 1993 the cathedral with the buildings and grounds had been allocated land Pokrovsky convent to form a small monastery.
