                  In 1954 in Kiev Shevchenko Boulevard opened a monument to Soviet military leaders Mykola Shchors. Sculptors Lysenko Boroday, Suhodolov and architects Zavarov and Vlasov. Before the Revolution at this place was a monument to Count Alexei Bobrynsky - the first monument erected no autocrat or military figure, and for services in the industrial field. It was opened February 6, 1872
