                  With walls of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra near Cathedral of Assumption Church is a small two-storey building of XVII-XVIII centuries. (Kovnirovskyy building - named for the talented Ukrainian artist - Stephen Kovnir (St. Ivan Mazepa, 21 Bldg. 7). In this building in 1968 for storing and displaying precious exhibits were created Museum of Historical Treasures of Ukraine.
