Art gallery "Plast-Art" was founded in 1994. It became one of the first non-state art galleries to appear on the territory of Ukraine. Over time, the gallery received the status of the Museum of Contemporary Art, of which there are only a few in our country. The multifaceted exposition of the Museum is aimed at the widest and most diverse demonstration of the artistic culture of the Chernihiv region and Ukraine of the XX-XXI centuries. His collection contains over 600 works and features more than 80 artists. Every year Plat-Art organizes many exhibition projects of various sizes - from debut shows by emerging artists to international festivals and conceptual expositions of famous masters. Throughout its history, the Museum has held more than 200 exhibitions, both in Chernigov and in other major cities of Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Austria, Sweden. The Plast-Art Museum of Contemporary Art has an excellent platform not only for the exposition of its collection, but also for the implementation of new projects of exhibitions and art festivals. The two-storey building in the historical center of the city, on Val, has 7 exhibition halls with a total area of ​​1000 m2. The mission of the museum is the development of art and the art market in Ukraine, exhibiting, preserving and popularizing the achievements of culture and art of the XX - XXI centuries, both in the Chernihiv region and in Ukraine as a whole.
