                  This temple is one of the oldest in Krivoy Rog, and one of the three who remained after the 1917 revolution. The temple was founded and consecrated in 1886 and was considered a house of prayer, but in 1909, after the expansion and completion, in official documents is called a church. In 1937, the church, together with all the additional buildings, was taken from the parishioners. Its territory was based orphanage for children of repressed parents and a prison for juvenile преступников.Восстановление temple began in 1991 godu.Uzhe in 1995 over the temple was built by a central dome and the church was decorated iconostasis, made Kryvyi Rih master Sergei Yurchenko. In 1999, the tower was built, dedicated to 2000 anniversary of the birth of Christ. Landmark Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is the miraculous icon of the Protection of the Mother of God.
