The exposition is located in the family estate of Konovalets and is dedicated to the colonel of the army of the Ukrainian People's Republic, military figure and politician, chairman of the Board of Ukrainian Nationalists Yevhen Konovalets. On May 23, 1990, a museum was opened on the initiative of the Ukrainian Language Society. On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of E. Konovalets on June 14, 1991, a monument to the colonel was erected near the house (authors - sculptor R. Romanovych and architect V. Potyuk). On the night of July 9-10, the monument was blown up. The second return in bronze by E. Konovalets took place on December 8, 1991. The mutilated bust remained nearby - a witness to history. On March 1, 1993, the Konovalets Museum received the status of a state museum and became a department of the Lviv Historical Museum. The exhibits of the museum are located in four rooms. The period of childhood and adolescence is presented in the first room, in the second - military activity. The materials of the third room tell about the founding and leadership of the UVO and the OUN, the struggle in the underground. The fourth room is dedicated to the tragic death and commemoration of Yevhen Konovalets. Among the rarities of the exposition are a father's chair, a napkin embroidered by his mother's hands, and an image-photograph of St. Teresa. It is extremely difficult to find things that belonged to the Konovalets family. The last addition to the museum is furniture from the Roman apartment of E. Konovalets.
