Brusyliv District Museum of Local Lore was founded on a voluntary basis in 1960. The exposition of the museum is located in two halls. One of them reflects the main stages of life and public activity of I. Ogienko. The exhibition presents numerous works by Metropolitan Hilarion on the history of Ukraine, the history of the Ukrainian church, the history of the Ukrainian language, which were published in Canada in 1950-1970; a copy of the London edition of the Bible in 1962 translated by Metropolitan Hilarion with a gift inscription to his daughter Lesya; photos by I. Ogienko; family wardrobe - dowry of Ivan Ogienko's wife; the interior of the Ukrainian house of the Kyiv province of the early twentieth century, which helps to recreate the situation in which our famous countryman lived. In the second hall of the exposition there are materials that tell about the history of Brusyliv district and the town of Brusyliv. The museum exhibits a collection of solid coins (first half of the 16th century), which was found in the region; a copy of the "Gospel" of 1753, tools and products of Brusyliv artisans, household items; agricultural implements, traditional Ukrainian men's and women's clothing; photos, documents, books of famous people of Brusyliv region.
