                  A large wooden three-frame church is located in overhead part of Pomoryany. According to legends, this temple was built by cossacks. During a hike on Lviv the armed forces of Kryvonis and Moskalenko stopped at Pomoryany. They were very favourably met by locals, and as a token of gratitude cossacks put an oak church, which was built traditionally without nails. In 1899 the temple was covered with a name-plate. In Soviet time the church building was used as a storage. The church was restored in 1969-1970. To the south of the church a large three-high bell tower is located, the understory of which is open and the overhead tier has arched openings on a perimeter.
