In the Odessa region, in a place where the river Danube, breaking more than two thousand miles across 10 states, flows into the Black Sea, it spreads many canals and bays, inside which is an oasis of untouched nature - the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve (more than 5 thousand km ). The Danube flooded - a unique ecosystem, where you can find 563 different species of plants and over 200 species of birds. The Reserve's territory covers the islands of the delta up and down the Danube marshes to the north of the Danube delta lakes and two-kilometer strip of sea waters along the coast. Marshes are available for excursions organized by the administration of the reserve, as well as numerous private carriers.
