                  Was built simultaneously with the citadel of the fortress in 1342, and before the construction of the outer defensive wall stood apart, 400 meters from the citadel. Tower guarded the city from the south-east and was a huge circular structure, built of large blocks of raw limestone to lime mortar. The tower was a three-tiered, inner diameter - 22 meters, the thickness of the walls - 2 meters. The narrow gate leading into the round tower was pierced in the wall at an oblique angle, making the attackers storm the tower. To the present day from the tower foundations are preserved, and two fragments of walls.
