In 1911, near the northern wall of the refectory in a specially constructed brick vault was buried Stolypin - famous statesman, reformer, Prime Minister of Russia. He arrived in Kiev to celebrate the opening of the monument to Alexander II. During a performance at the Opera House, Stolypin was mortally wounded revolutionary terrorists purple. Five days later he died and was buried in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, as requested in his will to bury him where was the last moment of his life. In 1912, the anniversary of the death of Stolypin, at the burial site was installed and consecrated the monument gravestones. It is designed as a massive cross made of black polished granite that is installed on a rectangular gravestones of the same granite. On the cross was a mosaic image of the Savior, the artist VA Frolov VM on drawings Vasnetsov (not preserved). On the headstone a bronze plate bearing the inscription: "September 5, 1911 Peter Stolypin Abramovich" and a picture of Calvary over it. Tombstone was dismantled in 1962 and burial vault were not damaged. In 1991, the monument was restored and re-installed over the crypt.
