Kodyma regional Museum of local lore was founded by District Council; it located in the building that is known as "Rozenfeld Manor" after its first owner, Earl, a representative of the House of Romanovs. Mansion was built in the 19th century in Gothic style from red brick and is considered a unique monument of architecture. Total number of Museum exhibits is about 2500. The exposition occupies 9 halls, one of which is a reproduction of the original interior of the Earl Manor hall. There are archaeological findings on the province territory, especially the life and handicrafts of local Cossacks and peasantry, as well as the historic events of the twentieth century, the Great Patriotic war and Soviet period.
