                  The most remarkable building Borscheva located in the heart of the pedestrian zone. Ukrainian company "People's House" was founded in 1908 on the initiative of counsel M. Dorundyaka. At the same time at the expense of the public for it was built building with two turrets. Thanks to the characteristic of Russian Orthodox architecture form of baths on the towers he was nicknamed "Russian House". Honorary member of the "People's House" was M. Grushevskii, which was often in Borscheva and watched the construction. Now it is also a cultural center of the city - here is the museum, the museum Shevchenko with an art gallery - the first in the western part of Ukraine.
