              Stepanovka village (now the village. Shiryaevo) was founded in 1796 and in 1798 was consecrated house of worship. Its first rector - the priest Onuphrios Fedorov. In 1809, there was the consecration of the new Stone St. Michael the Archangel prayer house. Consecration of a new stone temple was held May 14, 1827 January 16, 1923 the church was closed. In 1925 the church was opened, and in 1937 he again closed. November 19, 1991 registered community of St. Michael the Archangel Church. In 2000, the Metropolitan Agafangel consecrated the new church. The temple is very high and bright, with lots of old icons.
