                  St. Peter and Paul Cathedral (from 1795 to 1941. - Catherine's Church), an architectural monument with Renaissance elements in Minsk. Built in the early 17th century. together with the Minsk Peter and Paul Orthodox monastery brotherhood. Plan of the temple in the form of a rectangle, close to the square is subdivided into three naves. Average of them completed faceted apse. The main facade is flanked by towers at the corners. This technique was traditional in Belarus in the construction of churches, adapted for defensive functions. During the reconstruction of the temple in the 70s of the last century its facades have been changed, the construction of new three-tiered bell tower and dome over the middle nave (demolished in the XIX century.). Now restored church, its towers have been completed tent and facades have been removed from the later additions.
