Reserve-Museum "Bowery Nadia is one of the most unique historical and cultural monuments of Ukraine. Farmstead founded the outstanding Ukrainian playwright, actor, drama and public figure I. Tobilevich (Karpenko-Karymov) on 11-acres of land owned by his wife, Nadezhda (Nadia) Karlovna Tarkovsky, in her memory and named the village. Initially, the family led a modest private sector, since that time have survived, "Batkova Hata" and "Old chumatska Krynitsa. On his return from a three-year political exile in the spring of 1887 I. Tobilevich settled on the farm and decides to turn it into an "oasis in the desert." Here, away from the playwright and visited leading figures of the Ukrainian theater Marco Kropiwnicki, Maria Zankovetskaya, Michael Starytskyi, brothers Nicholas Sadowski, Panas Saksagansky and sister Maria Sadovskaya - Barilotti. Kh Nadia became a creative laboratory I. Tobilevich. Here are written comedies: "One hundred thousand", "Hazyain" historical drama "Sava Chaly," "Gandza" - only 11 pieces. In 1956, the Bowery Nadia declared a state reserve museums in Ukraine.
