                  Ochakiv Military History Museum. O. Suvorov is a branch of the Nikolaev regional museum of local lore. It was created on a voluntary basis as a local history museum. Then the Leningrad Museum named after О.Суворова. The pearl of the museum's exposition was the diorama "Assault on the Ochakiv Fortress". It was created by MI Samsonov, a corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Arts, and depicted real events that took place on December 6, 1788. In addition to the dioramas in 1974, the friezes "Battle of Kinburn" and "Siege of Ochakov" were added. Currently, all these paintings are stored in storage, because they are large and the museum simply can not place them in the exhibition.
