Location: Located on the banks of the river Rudka 120 km. west of Poltava. Population: 7500 thousand people Area: 10.7 square meters. km. Waterways: River Rudka, pond Kryva Ruda. Founded: 16 c. Historical note: Semenivka was founded in 16 century on the site Yamska station. The village was named for one of the sons of Ukrainian nobleman Rodzianko - Semen. 1938 - awarded the status of an urban type.
