              Ancient Cossack temple, an architectural monument of the XVIII century. The only wooden church in the Kherson region. Constructed of oak in 1725 in Zaporozhye fortress Transhipment (current Sec Svetlogorsk in the confluence of p. Vorskla into the Dnieper), originally called the Resurrection. In 1784 the temple was moved to the rafts on the Dnieper in Berislav. Under the Soviet government was closed for a short period from 1939 to 1941 Here is stored the Gospel in 1695
