                  Title: Haisyn City Status: The administrative center Haisyn area. Location: Located on the River Sib 94 km. in the south-east of Vinnytsia. Population: 25,000 thousand people Area: 18.26 square meters. km. Waterways: River Sib Founded: 1600 Historical note: In 1600, Haisyn on royal privileges founded noble Svirskyi. Haisyn was badly damaged during an anti-war Bogdan Khmelnitskyi (1648-1654), accompanied by looting and mass murder of Jews. In 1744 the Polish king August III fan of Haisyn Magdeburg Law. After the Second Partition of Poland (1793) Podol'e goes to Russia, and Haisyn became a district town. Significant event for the city was the opening of the Southern Society of sidings in 1900 narrow-gauge railroad Zhytomyr-Olviopol. Sightseeing: National History Museum.
