                  The first monolithic construction of Europe. It was built as a "Theatre Club of the national assembly." Ascetic, but expressive forms of the building, built of reinforced concrete, stress compliance with the external appearance and internal space. It masterfully used the constructive and artistic possibilities of reinforced concrete. In the years of Soviet power in this building housed the DC Railway. At the Great Hall of the former national assembly worked first Russian Drama Theatre after M. Gorky, and later the Youth Theatre.
