                  Old Town aristocratic mansion, from 1815 to 1834 belonged to the state and public figure M.A.Fadeev and his wife, scientist, naturalist-E.P.Dolgorukoy Fadeeva. In this house, their children grown up: a writer, EA Hahn, general and writer Robert A. Fadeev, public figures, EA and NA Fadeev. In this house in 1831, their eldest granddaughter was born - a researcher, writer, creator of the International Theosophical Society, HP Blavatsky. Achieved notoriety, and other grandchildren Fadeev: VP Zhelihovskaya writer and statesman, minister-reformer Sergei Witte.
