Military-Historical Museum of Southern Operations Command was established on the eve of the 40 th anniversary of the Victory, May 8, 1985, and represents a unique collection of documents and exhibits that tell the history of martial arts since the mid 19 th century to the present day. Today the museum has 13 rooms, the exhibition are devoted to pages of Russian, Soviet and Ukrainian military history. The most complete reflection found here during the Great Patriotic War. Constantly updated with a room devoted to the Air Force of Ukraine after the Soviet collapse. In addition, in the courtyard of the museum is equipped with an observation deck, which provided 13 units of military equipment during the Second World War.
