                  Title: Mohyliv-Podilskyi Status: The administrative center of Mohyliv-Podilskyi district, a city of regional subordination. Location: Located on the Dnister River, 123 km south-west of Vinnytsia. Population: 32 500 thousand inhabitants Area: 21.63 sq. km. km. Reservoirs: Dnister River Founded: 1595 Background: The city was founded in 1595 by Yeremia Mogyla, who built a castle on this spot, and later gave the land around his son-, Stefan Pototskyi.
