Holy Assumption Church is an outstanding example of temple architecture in the second half. Nineteenth century. Which is preserved to this day almost in its original form. It is part of the palace and park complex in s.Vishenki built by Field Marshal Rumyantsev Transdanubia in the years 1782-87. in honor of Empress Catherine II. It is not known who was the architect, but suggest that its construction involved Bazhenov and Mostsipanov. The church, as opposed to the palace was built in the strict traditions of classicism with baroque elements. Size and decoration it does not resemble the provincial and would honor a major provincial city. This is a very impressive temple, striking simplicity of the plan, elegant proportions, the elegant facade, delicate silhouette of the building. Columns of the western entrance, as well as northern and southern sides are close to the walls, emphasizing the image of the total composition. Both internal and external parts of the temple are covered with stucco ornaments. Very large choirs take the form of balconies. The floor is covered with iron plates.
