Transfiguration Cathedral - an architectural dominant Priluk, decoration and pride of the ancient city. The temple was founded by Colonel local Ignat Galaganom in 1705, replacing the old wooden Church of the Savior, who died in a fire. Stone church was erected at the expense of the community. The church in the Ukrainian Baroque style erected folk artists. A rare type pyatibannoe construction was completed in 1720. Founder's Cathedral - Ignat Galagan after death found peace in the deep crypt inside the cathedral. Near the cathedral is a massive two-tiered belfry. This is no less interesting and fairly original structure. The bell tower was built simultaneously with the cathedral. Consists of nave church with an altar-faceted apse and two-tiered bell tower, the first stage of which - quadruplet, the second - cylinder volume with the arches. Completes the bell tower dome with lyukarnami, which earlier had a watch. In Soviet times, the Transfiguration Cathedral was ransacked, and his priests - were repressed. Temple Church returned only in 1991. Today the Saviour Cathedral is valid.
