The Mensk Museum of Local Lore, founded in 1954, has one of the richest collections in the region. More than 16 yews are kept here. exhibits of the main fund. The finds found on the territory of Mena and its environs, which are direct confirmation of the existence of ancient settlements 3-4 thousand years ago on this territory. Of particular value are two bronze articulated neck torcs, bronze bracelets and a fibula of the 6th-7th centuries, a fragment of a sword of the 10th century. The entire museum exposition is located in 4 rooms and tells about the nature and history of the area from ancient times to the present. The sections "Menchina during the Cossack period", "They died in Afghanistan", "Menchina during the period of independence" are presented Among the exhibits of the ethnographic collection, the attention is drawn to the bandura made by the famous master of musical instruments and kobzar A. Kornievsky, who studied at the local craft school, the lyre of the folk singer P. Kuzminsky, woven and embroidered towels, samples of traditional clothing. The museum has a collection of documents related to the life of bandura player T. Parkhomenko, lyre player A. Grebnya.
