The Ascension Church is a unique example of a cruciform 5-head church in the period of historicism, which is traditional for the Left-Bank Ukraine of the 17-18 centuries. Built in the period 1866-1874 in the style of historicism. Stone, plastered, 5-domed, where four side domes are decorative, a cruciform church in plan, with apses (niches) on the western and eastern sides, with projections on the northern and southern facades. The central dome with 8 light openings on an octagonal drum is crowned with a decorative dome on the lantern. The interior of the temple has a pronounced cross-domed spatial solution. In 1975, restoration work was carried out. In 1988, the temple was transferred to the "Museum of the history of weaving of Chernihiv region". In 2017, the temple was transferred to the religious community of the Chernigov diocese of the OCU.
