Previously, this site housed a monastery belonging to the Dominican Order. The residence, by the nature of the building and external design, is located somewhere in the middle between the castle and the palace. It belongs to the Baroque style of architecture. The building occupies one floor and has a somewhat squat appearance. In addition to the main building, the residence also has several utility rooms: a grain storage, a stable, a coach house. The current appearance of the courtyard is the result of a full-scale reconstruction made in 1857 under the direction of the Earl of Schönborn. The most ancient section of the building is the basement rooms, which have existed since the days of the monastery. At the moment, in the premises of the prince's residence there is the Historical and Ethnographic Museum of Beregovshchina.
