Rivne Museum of Local Lore is located in a cozy place in Rivne near the city center in an attached two-storey historic building, which is a monument of history and architecture. Currently, the funds of the Rivne Regional Museum of Local Lore are about 140 thousand exhibits. The permanent exposition of the museum is exhibited in 23 halls. Unique exhibits of the Rivne Museum of Local Lore are works of Volyn icon painting, a collection of old prints and graphics, sculptures, objects of the Cossack era, the First and Second World Wars, etc. The decoration of the museum's art collection is the work of the famous Polish-Italian sculptor Tomasz-Oscar Sosnowski - they are made of white marble in the style of academic neoclassicism, are distinguished by high technique and perfection of form. The collections of the Rivne Regional Museum of Local Lore have been repeatedly exhibited at exhibitions held not only in Ukraine but also abroad, in particular in Poland and Canada, and the museum itself conducts active exhibition activities.
