                  Ataman Kalnyshevsky Peter (1691-1803), the "father" Petrikovka was extraordinary, a strong personality with a bright destiny: the commander, an able politician and a good economic manager. Another eight-year boy, he became Jur - Cossack squire, and went to the Sich. Here he was twice elected ataman. Creating "an economic base Cossack republic," Kalnyshevsky helped farmers to move to the desert land Dnieper. Thanks to his care, in the wild steppes grew more than one Ukrainian village.
