Construction of the St. Nicholas Church is closely linked with the name of Catherine Apollonovna Rakhmanova (nee Apraksin, granddaughter of Marshal Stepan Fedorovich Apraksin, which in the Seven Years War 1756-1763, he was chief of the Russian army). When her husband died, Nikolai Rakhmanov, in memory of Catherine decided to build a temple. St. Nicholas Church belongs to the type nave, dome church with a belfry over the porch. Three-dimensional spatial resolution and composition of the facades are based on the classical schemes. They are characterized by monumental proportions and exquisite restraint. The plan of construction has the form of an oblong rectangle. In the 20 years of the twentieth century, the hand of Soviet power did not pass and this church. Despite the looting, the church operated until 1933, when it finally closed and looted. In 1961 the church building was opened club, music was played, the youth went to the dance. In 1962, the temple was converted into a cinema. Later, the St. Nicholas church converted into a warehouse of chemical fertilizers. Since 1980, the church building was empty, and the locals began to disassemble the brick church on the building material. Since 1992, reconstruction began hrama.V 1994 St. Nicholas Church was open to the congregation. Today the temple has a beautiful iconostasis, painted by the artist-painter Krivoy Rog Sergei Yurchenko, and revived with the new tower bells.
