                  The ruins of two towers of castle on a hill overlooking the South Bug reminiscent of the once major city of Podolsk Cherlenkiv known from the 13th century. The castle was built supposedly Koriatovychs princes in the 14th century., After Lithuanian Duke Algirdas Horde defeated and annexed the skirts in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Castle Cherlengrad long time belonged to the genus Ukrainian gentry Kmit-Cherlenkivskyis controlled the crossing of the Southern Bug. Destroyed in 1624 during a campaign-Tatar army Cantemir nobleman in Podillia. In 1670 Cherlenkivskyi founded on the ruins of Castle Basilian monastery. In the 18th century. Elder S. Shchenivskyi attempted to reconstruct the castle, but was soon rebuilt the stronghold of the heir to a magnate's residence. One of the towers that the road near a bridge across the Southern Bug, was converted into a chapel-shrine. The second of the surviving towers tried to blow up in Soviet times, but three of its walls have survived. At present the territory of castle built up private houses.
