In 1392, to Liuboml' the Polish king Vladislav II Jagiello went. The king liked the city. In 1409 by order of king in the city a wooden parish Svyatoi Triytsi church was built for the local Catholics. In 1412, instead of a wooden church King Jagiello built a new stone church in Gothic style with the same title. With the construction of the stone church an interesting legend is connected. After the victory near Grunwald in 1410, King Jagiello, along with his knights returned home. Near the Bug River the Tatars catched them up and surrounded them. King prayed to the Mother of God for help, and according to legend, the Mother of God appeared before the army, strengthened the forces of the knights, and they defeated the Tatars. And the king commanded to build a temple at this place. So in 1412 construction of the Svyatoi Triytsi church began "in perpetuity". The church was built on a small hill in the northern part of the city within the city defense walls. In 1764, near the church a brick two-tiered bell tower was built. In the early 17th c. the church was rebuilt, its architecture has gained features of baroque. Later the church was rebuilt several times, and only in the early 19th century it got a form that has been preserved to this day. Before World War II, in the church the miraculous icon of Our Lady of Liuboml' was conserved. Now the original icon is located in Poland and in the church a copy of it is preserved. After 1945, in the church the salt warehouse housed, and from 1976 - a carpentry. In 1980 it was decided to open sports hall in the church, but this case was not brought to an end. In 1992 the building was returned to Catholics.
